Experienced web developer with immediate availability to support projects on site in NYC or remote in the U.S. I’ve developed features and entire products full stack at two fast-paced SaaS startups.
I developed the MVP of donorpoints.com, rewards points for non-profits. Working with business co-founders who brought a well developed specification, I clarified requirements, discussed tradeoffs, and rapidly brought the project to production.
I lead development of ModernTax, a SaaS product that verifies income via connected IRS accounts. Discussions of new buisness opportunities led the team to develop the new product where I helped solidify technical requirements and estimates, architected, and engineered our software for a beta launch.
I developed full stack features, backend integrations, and APIs at Fountain, an Applicant Tracking System for the gig economy.
I like to get the most basic version of the project up and running ASAP so everyone involved can evaluate progress as additions and improvements are made continuously. This involves simple automated deployment and testing so changes are easy to make.
I use Ruby on Rails and React to rapidly move concepts into fully fledged products in production on Postgres and Heroku. I use Github to version code and run automated tests using RSpec.
